The Lady Dunn Health Centre COVID-19 Facility Update
The Lady Dunn Health Centre (LDHC) continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic but with the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care has begun the wind-down process of COVID -19 measures at our facility. All programs and services are open to the public and are being delivered in-person and or virtually.
Appointments at LDHC
If you have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath please contact your provider or the hospital for further instructions and prior to arriving at the facility.
Screening
Individuals who enter the facility who will be attending the emergency department, day surgery or spirometry testing will continue to be actively screened at the front reception of LDHC. All other individuals will be required to passively screen themselves prior to entering the facility following the guided posters for symptoms of COVID-19.
Masking
Wearing a mask is still a requirement for everyone entering the facility. Masks are available on entering.
Emergency Department
The department remains open. Help keep our emergency room resources available for those requiring emergency care. Please limit support persons to one person when needing care at the emergency department.
Long Term Care/Acute Care Unit
The Long Term Care and acute care units are open to visitors from 8am to 8pm. Please DO NOT VISIT if you are not feeling well. All visitors will be required to screen themselves for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering and if they do not pass the screening questions, are asked not to enter for the safely of our residents/clients and staff.
Primary Care-Dubreuilville Medical Centre and Missanabie Nursing Station
The Dubreuilville Medical Centre remains open. Physician visits to Dubreuilville will be through phone calls and in-person visits. The community of Missanabie continues to have access to the Nurse Practitioner in Dubreuilville for virtual care.
