Obstetrics

The birthing room is equipped to allow the mother, husband/partner or coach a comfortable setting during labor and delivery. We average approximately 2-5 births a year. There is no anaesthetist available to perform caesarean sections and high-risk mothers and/or infants are transferred to Sault Ste. Marie.
