Laboratory
A 24-hour response laboratory in a computerized environment employs a team of Laboratory Sciences Professionals.
Walk In Clinic
Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Friday - Closed
The Outpatient Laboratory is partnered with Health Sciences North to provide testing on all referred out-patient specimens.
The Hospital Laboratory supports our inpatient service, emergency department and surgical service by providing testing in the following disciplines:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Point of Care Testing
- Transfusion Medicine
- Urinalysis
- Coagulation
- Manual rapid test kits
The laboratory is partnered with the Northshore District Laboratory Program and University Health Network for the provision of Quality Management Services, which provides our facility access to their technical and professional expertise.

Physiotherapy
The Health Centre offers out-patient and in-patient physiotherapy services in a well-equipped area located in the lower level with easy access and parking located at the lakeside entrance.
In addition the department offers Cardiac Exercise Stress Testing. Physician referral is required.

Diagnostic Imaging
A 24-hour response diagnostic imaging department offers radiography and ultrasound services. Recently modernized, the diagnostic imaging department installed a new picture archiving communications system (PACS) which captures and stores x-rays in a digital format. This means that it is now a faster process and turnaround is lessened decreasing wait times.
Spirometry testing is also provided by this Department.
