Quality Improvement Plan
The Quality Improvement plan identifies key quality initiatives currently underway throughout Lady Dunn Health Centre and the performance indicators associated with them. It is one of many tools that supports LDHC's Integrated Quality Management Program and the organizations vision to provide excellent health care for every one, every day.
Patient Quality
The Excellent Care for All Act 2010, requires public hospitals, primary health care organizations, Community Care Access Centres (CCAC) and Long Term Care homes to create a Quality Improvement Plan that is sent to Health Quality Ontario (HQO) and posted to the Organizations website annually.

The Excellent Care for All Act, which received royal assent in June 2010, requires hospitals to develop an annual Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). This plan reaffirms Lady Dunn Health Centre's commitment to accountability and transparency.

Accredited with Exemplary Standing
The Lady Dunn Health Centre received Accreditation with Exemplary Standing. This designation is awarded to organizations that go beyond the requirements for Accreditation Canada and who are committed to quality improvement. Please email us for a copy of the report.
Accreditation Canada is an independent organization that sets standards for quality and safety in health care and accredits health organization in Canada and around the world. The accreditation process is an essential part of ensuring that the care that the Lady Dunn Health Centre provides to patients meets or exceeds national standards and encourages continual improvement.
